Generally storm motion was not conducive to tap into shear energy, however a few storms which moved more eastwardly were able to tap into both the instability and shear. The greatest storm damage was reported in Hall and Coweta County where extended swaths of wind damage were noted. Some hail up to ping pong ball sized was also reported in northeast GA, early on in the event.
Began near Fayetteville (33.4500, -84.4500).
