Dime to penny sized hail fell over a duration of 10 minutes.

In the late afternoon of the 22nd, a cluster of storms in eastern Colorado began forming into a line of storms as it entered western Kansas in the early evening. Penny sized hail and a wind gust up to 70 MPH were recorded from these storms.
