Wind gust was measured on a Tempest Weather Station in Bear Creek. Report was relayed via WeatherFlow as thunderstorms were moving through the area.

Wider weather episode

Tropical moisture surged northwards as a developing area of low pressure off the coast of the Carolinas began to move inland. Scattered shower and thunderstorm activity developed along the Crystal Coast on the north side of this low pressure system with a few of these storms becoming strong to severe in nature bringing strong wind gusts to the Crystal Coast.
