A tree was blown down and onto Delaney Road near Cowan. The exact location along Delaney Road was not given.
The wider storm
A stationary boundary set up along the Ohio River, allowing for afternoon convection to start popping along the boundary and just south in the warm sector. This included portions of northeast Kentucky. Several storms became strong, and ultimately three instances of wind damage were reported during the mid-afternoon hours. Storms then diminished heading into the evening hours with loss of afternoon heat and mixing.
