A power pole was blown down on the south side of Flora.

Wider weather episode

An advancing warm front triggered a line of strong thunderstorms during the morning of August 1st. One cluster of minor wind damage occurred across portions of Sangamon and Logan counties during the pre-dawn hours while another occurred further southeast across Clay and Richland counties toward midday.
