Emergency management reported a roof destroyed on a large storage shed just north of Charles City. Many trees were also reported down in the area, some on houses.

Wider weather episode

During the late afternoon and evening hours on August 29th, storms of various modes moved across portions of northeast Iowa bringing strong winds causing several instances of tree and structural damage.
