West Milford police dispatch reported a few trees down around town.

An upper level trough slowly approached the area as a stalled frontal boundary sat just to our west. With an environment with about 1500 J/kg of MLCAPE and 30 kt of Effective Bulk Shear, a thunderstorm that developed was able to become severe and produce damaging wind gusts.
