Mesonet stations along I-84 recorded wind gusts as high as 79 mph in Sherman County.

A strong south-southwesterly upper-level low triggered a round of severe thunderstorms and strong outflow winds along the east slopes of the Cascades, extending into eastern Oregon. Numerous reports of damaging wind gusts and small hail were reported.
