Public reported ping pong sized hail.

The area was situated on the western edge of an upper level low as it spun over the Canadian Maritimes. An embedded shortwave rotated around the low and helped spark thunderstorms in a very unstable environment. One of these storms became severe and produced damaging wind gusts and large hail.
