Event narrative

A spotter reported their street was flooded

and the floodwaters were reaching the first

step of their neighbors house. They also

reported that 2.25 inches of rain fell

within 45 minutes.

Wider weather episode

This forcing and moisture combined with passing short wave troughs aloft and weak mesolows created isolated stronger storms with gusty winds and waves of very heavy, locally flooding rainfall.
