Event narrative

AT 3:45 pm, emergency management shared a photo of flood water flowing over Lantana Avenue about 1 mile NW of Flagler Beach. A spotter also reported about 3 inches of water on Flagler Avenue. At 4:24 pm, a spotter reported deep ponding on Florida Park Dr and Clubhouse Dr near the intersection with

Palm Coast Pkwy. Flooding was also reported

along Pritchard Dr between Belle Terre Pkwy

and Providence Ln. Roads are passable.

Swales were overflowing into streets in the

B, W, and L sections of Palm Coast but did not cover the

roads.

Wider weather episode

A surface front continued to meander near the FL-GA state line. This feature combined with a very saturated airmass and slow steering flow promoted pockets of heavy rainfall where diurnally enhanced convection developed across NE FL.
