A severe thunderstorm dropped hail the size of half dollars in Antrim.
Wider weather episode
A cold upper level low moved across New Hampshire on August 26th. The colder temperatures lowered the freezing levels which allowed for abundant hail to fall out of developing thunderstorms during the afternoon hours. This led to numerous reports of large damaging hail across New Hampshire.
