Tropical storm force winds impacted the western portions of Florida Bay, where peak sustained winds near 37 knots with gusts to 48 knots were observed at Long Key Light.

The center of Tropical Storm Debby passed about 85 nautical miles to the west-southwest of Key West on a north-northwest path through the southeastern Gulf of Mexico. Tropical storm-force wind gusts occurred in rain bands extending throughout the Straits of Florida and Florida Keys. Sustained tropical storm force winds occurred over the coastal waters mainly from along the Lower Florida Keys west of the Seven Mile Bridge through Dry Tortugas.
