Event narrative

A narrow, tilted waterspout was observed at the range tower near the Northwest Channel. The condensation funnel cloud extended about one third of the way from the cloud base to the surface and no spray ring was observed. The waterspout moved slowly toward the west-southwest.

Wider weather episode

An isolated waterspout developed in association with a convective cloud line developing along the Gulf side of the Lower Florida Keys.
