Event narrative

There were several trees down near the intersection of Mitchellsburg Road and Harberson Lane. There were also trees down on Bakers Lane, around the 9700 and 10300 block of Lebanon Road, and on Scrubgrass Road.

Wider weather episode

As a surface low moved east across the Great Lakes, its trailing cold front dropped south through the Midwest and towards the Lower Ohio Valley. Multiple rounds of convection worked through central Kentucky. Some of these thunderstorms produced damaging winds, resulting in scattered damage across central Kentucky.
