Scattered trees and power lines were blown down in a swath across Sunflower County including two trees which fell onto vehicles and one tree which fell onto a house in the Moorhead area.

A line of severe thunderstorms moved southward across Mississippi during the evening of August 18th and produced scattered to widespread wind damage.
