Event narrative

Tidal flooding was reported again in

downtown Jacksonville from Hogans Creek

drainage right off of the St. Johns river.

Roads and parking lots along Hogans Creek

were impassable this morning around high

tide including the parking lot at Intuition

Ale Works which had flooding on the

Lafayette St and E Forsyth St sides. The

Main Street Bridge river gauge reported high

tide at 9:42 AM and peaked just below

moderate flood stage at 1.94 FT MHHW.

Wider weather episode

Onshore flow and high astronomical tides continued to produce high daily tides with some inundation onto normally dry ground.
