A tree was blown down on Hamby Road near the intersection with Cooks Mill Road.

Wider weather episode

Scattered showers and thunderstorms developed along the Ohio River during the afternoon hours on September 6th. These showers and storms were aided in development by a warm and humid air mass ahead of a surface cold front which moved through the area during the evening hours. While most of the thunderstorm activity was sub-severe, one or two stronger storms was able to produce isolated wind damage.
