Heavy Snow in East Slopes Sangre De Cristo Mountains, New Mexico

The Tolby SNOTEL recorded an estimated 13 inches of snow. There was a report of power outages in Sapello, NM.

An early season upper level low brought winter weather across the higher elevations of the northern and central NM November 4th. While snow levels fell to around 7,000 feet, significant accumulating snow was limited to portions of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains and Raton Pass area. Closures of I-25 at Raton Pass and a few power outages were reported.
