Conditions over the Eastern Great Lakes became favorable for waterspout development on September 7th as cool air aloft moved into the area within a large scale trough over the region. Showers that developed/moved over Lake Erie did produce a waterspout off of the lakeshore near Dunkirk on the afternoon of Saturday September 7th.
