Warren, MN DOT sensor reported a peak wind gust of 60 MPH.
Wider weather episode
A strong LLJ of 60 knots passed over the area with a low pressure system, causing high winds from the SSE. A well mixed boundary layer resulted in higher wind gusts from that LLJ reaching the surface across eastern North Dakota and northwestern Minnesota.
