Multiple reports were received of one inch diameter hail in and around Post.

Wider weather episode

A cut off upper level low pressure system and a dryline generated lift during the early morning hours of the fourth. A cluster of thunderstorms developed in Lynn County and moved northeastward into Garza County where it produced quarter size hail in and around Post (Garza County).
