The Diamond Complex of Wildfires was discovered on July 16th at 639 PM PST. The complex consists of 32 fires, eventually consolidating into 2 fires. The fires started 18 miles southwest of Chemult in Douglas County, Oregon. The fires were lightning caused. As of 530 AM PST on October 1st, they had burned 11,142 acres, were 90% contained, no structures had been destroyed, and it had cost $ 75.3M.
