The Milepost 98 Wildfire started on September 8th around 300 PM PST. The fire started 1 mile north of Canyonville, on Interstate 5 in Douglas County, Oregon. The fire was caused by a vehicle accident. As of 530 AM PST on September 16th, it had burned 250 acres, was 100% contained, no structures had been destroyed, and it had cost $4.3M.
