The Bowman Well Wildfire was discovered on September 7th at 759 AM PST. The fire was located 20 miles northeast of Silver Lake, on the Fremont-Winema National Forest in Lake County, Oregon. The fire was caused by lightning. As of 530 AM PST on September 16th, it had burned 2,853 acres, was 100% contained, no structures had been destroyed, and it had cost $ 1.5M.
