Event narrative
The Bottom Creek Wildfire was discovered on September 20th around 200 PM PST. The fire was located 21 miles east of Coos Bay and 20 miles west-northwest of Roseburg, in Coos County, Oregon. The fire was caused is under investigation. As of 530 AM PST on October 1st, it had burned 205 acres, was 45% contained, no structures had been destroyed, and it had cost $ 3.9M.
