Quebrada Margarita was out of its banks, causing significant flooding along nearby streets.

As a tropical wave approached the region, strong showers and thunderstorms developed with rainfall accumulations ranging from one to two inches. This led to several reports of flooding, as well as gusty winds across several sectors of the San Juan metro area and western Puerto Rico.
