Emergency managers reported that water from a small canal overflowed its banks, flooding the streets in the Bayamon Garden and Country State neighborhoods.

Wider weather episode

Increased instability along with elevated low level moisture resulted in energetic showers and thunderstorms developing over Puerto Rico. The rain was heavy enough to leave accumulations of 2 to 3 inches, along with gusty winds, lightning, and even small hail.
