Emergency management reported numerous trees blown down and several power poles snapped in an area centered around North Mountain St, mainly between Mount Paran Rd and Holly Ridge Rd.

Wider weather episode

Scattered thunderstorms developed over upstate South Carolina during the afternoon and evening. A few of the storms produced severe weather, mainly in the form of damaging wind gusts, but some marginal large hail also occurred.
