A 62-year-old male drowned in Terraplen La Posita Beach, road PR-187 in Pinones.

Wider weather episode

A slowly decaying long-period north northeasterly swell continued to reach the north coast of Puerto Rico. This swell caused high rip current risk and high surf conditions across the local beaches. One person drowned due to rip currents during this event.
