The wider storm
A large cluster of thunderstorms developed near the center of an area of low pressure as it tracked just off the southeast South Carolina coast. The thunderstorms produced strong wind gusts across the Atlantic coastal waters.
Began near Edisto Buoy (41004) (32.5020, -79.0990).
