Scattered thunderstorms developed late in the afternoon on September 24th across Deep East Texas and North Louisiana along a slow-moving frontal boundary draped across the region. A few of these thunderstorms quickly pulsed and managed to reach severe limits in Caldwell Parish where instability was maximized during the afternoon peak heating. As a result, a few reports of damaging winds and large hail were documented near Columbia, Clarks, and Grayson.
