Event narrative

A narrow, rope-like waterspout was observed about 2 miles north of Bahia Honda Key. The condensation cloud extended all the way to the water surface. Video obtained later from a public observer verified a robust spray ring was attendant to the waterspout.

A waterspout was observed north of Bahia Honda Key in association with a thunderstorms. The environment featured an atmosphere with deep moisture and very little convective inhibition. A stationary front was located to the north over the Florida peninsula.
