Snow moved into Central North Carolina just prior to sunrise on January 18th impacting local schools and morning communters. Between one to two inches of snow fell across the area resulting in numerous accidents. About eight children were injured in Asheboro when a school bus over turned and two indirect deaths were reported near Goldsboro as a result of a single vehicle accident. Snow changed over all rain by afternoon.
