Event narrative

Broadcast Media (TMJ4) meteorologist pointed out an observe waterspout forming on one of their tower cameras in Racine. Waterspout developed around 1658 UTC with funnel extending from the base of the cloud along with a visible spray ring on the water surface and lasted through at least 1703 UTC. Location is estimated based off of radar.

Wider weather episode

Conditions were favorable for waterspout development over Lake Michigan with cooler air over the above normal water temps. Conditions lingered for a few days from 10/12 thru 10/15. In all, 10 Special marine warnings were issued at various times during this period.
