A burst of 0.5 to 1.5 inches fell across the county. 1.2 inches of snow was measured 1.2 miles W of Elko New Market, MN.

Two areas of light snow moved across the region on November 20, 2024. The first area of snow was during the morning. Temperatures were near or above freezing, and there were few impacts from this first round of snow. A second area of snow moved through during the late afternoon and early evening. Temperatures were dropping, and northwest winds were blowing 30 to 35 mph. The wet roads became ice covered, and over 500 traffic accidents were reported across the state of Minnesota. Many of these occurred in the Twin Cities metro area and surrounding locations. Although snowfall amounts were light (generally 1 to 2 inches), there were notable impacts to travel.
