Over 150 reports were received of trees and power lines blown down across the county. A gust to 45 mph was recorded at the Richmond Municipal Airport.

Remnants of Hurricane Helene moved north through the eastern Tennessee Valley into the southern Ohio Valley. Widespread high winds with gusts in excess of 40 MPH, created numerous power outages from downed trees and power lines.
