Event narrative

Trees and power lines were blown down across the county. At the Butler County Regional Airport, the ASOS station KHAO measured a 52 mph gust.

Wider weather episode

Remnants of Hurricane Helene moved north through the eastern Tennessee Valley into the southern Ohio Valley. Widespread high winds with gusts in excess of 60 MPH, created numerous power outages from downed trees and power lines.
