Mesonet station at the top of the Juneau Library recorded a peak wind gust of 74mph at 442am on the 22nd. Multiple other Marine Exchange of Alaska stations recorded high winds during the time frame, with frequent gusts over the high wind criteria of 60mph.

Wider weather episode

After a lull in stronger winds, a Northerly outflow event resumed, generating a mountain wave over downtown Juneau and Douglas.
