The combination of strong high pressure over eastern Canada and weak low pressure off the southern New England coast, resulted in prolonged northeast, east and southeast winds which caused minor to moderate (tidal) coastal flooding over portions of Dorchester county adjacent to the Chesapeake Bay. Cambridge reached 4.22 feet MLLW at 718 pm on Saturday, September 21, 4.27 feet MLLW at 754 pm on Sunday, September 22, and 4.13 feet MLLW at 918 pm on Monday, September 23.
