At the Willow Creek SNOTEL site, 13 inches of new snow fell.

Wider weather episode

A Pacific trough and cold front moved into western Wyoming and brought locally heavy snow. The heaviest snow fell in the Tetons where 15 inches of new snow fell. The heavy snow caused the closure of South Pass for a time. Over a foot of snow fell in the highest elevations of the Salt and Wyoming Range as well. A COOP Observer reported 9 inches of new snow at Jackson Lake.
