Event narrative

Flash flooding was reported at PR-844 between San Juan Chalets and the rear entrance of Urb. Fair View due to Cepero Creek flowing out of its banks. Water is reaching the entrance of El Valle hotel.

Wider weather episode

Wet and unstable weather conditions persisted on Nov 5th onwards due to an upper-level trough and a surface frontal boundary through midweek, followed by the proximity of an area of low pressure by the 7th, heightening flooding and lightning risks. Flooding or Flash Flooding was reported in San Juan, Naguabo, Carolina and Guaynabo. A landslide was also reported on the 8th at Fajardo.
