Roosevelt County Dispatch reported an injury from a semi-truck overturning 1 ENE Bainville at about 900 am. Rainfall accumulation of 0.41 in Froid was reported with ice accumulations at least 0.10 across eastern Roosevelt County. Severe driving conditions were reported by Montana DOT 511 website, along route 16 from Culbertson to Plentywood and potions of highway 2 from approximately 4:30am until 11:30 am.

Wider weather episode

Freezing rain spread northeast across a portion of northeast Montana early Sunday morning. This resulted in 10 injuries, with 4 in Dawson county, 3 in Prairie, and 1 each in Sheridan, Roosevelt and Richland counties. Interstate 94 was closed from Glendive to Miles City from 430 am to approximately 10 am. Severe driving conditions were reported in many areas east of a line from Scobey to Jordan.
