Rainfall of 0.05 (eastern Richland) to 0.52 (central Richland) and freezing temperatures and frozen ground resulted in a widespread icy glaze. A person falling in Sidney resulted in an injury.

Wider weather episode

Freezing rain spread northeast across a portion of northeast Montana early Sunday morning. This resulted in 10 injuries, with 4 in Dawson county, 3 in Prairie, and 1 each in Sheridan, Roosevelt and Richland counties. Interstate 94 was closed from Glendive to Miles City from 430 am to approximately 10 am. Severe driving conditions were reported in many areas east of a line from Scobey to Jordan.
