Douglas Airport ASOS (DGW) located 3 miles north northeast of Douglas reported this peak wind gust. Several other Mesonet and WYDOT sensors also reported wind gusts in excess of 58 mph during this time.
Wider weather episode
A prolonged and widespread high wind event took place across much of southeast Wyoming from 14 to 16 December.
