UPR site EMKAY (UP226), located 14 miles west southwest of Cheyenne reported this peak wind gust. WYDOT sensors in WYZ117 also reported wind gusts in excess of 58 mph during this time.

A prolonged and widespread high wind event took place across much of southeast Wyoming from 14 to 16 December.
