Hot temperatures 8 to 12 degrees above normal caused record-breaking heat across Southeast Arizona. Douglas International Airport reached a high temperature of 93 degrees Fahrenheit. The Pima County Medical Examiner confirmed that heat was the primary cause of death for an individual in Douglas.
