Hot temperatures 8 to 16 degrees above normal caused record-breaking heat across Southeast Arizona. The Pima County Medical Examiner confirmed that heat was the primary cause of death for three individuals in Douglas, Bisbee, and Ajo. The Pima County Medical Examiner also found heat contributed to the death of another individual in the Tucson Metro area.
