Heavy snowfall set up across portions of the southeastern Adirondacks, central Mohawk Valley, Schoharie Valley and eastern Catskills where snowfall amounts between 7 and 14 inches were common. Snowfall amounts between 2 and 8 inches were common elsewhere except across eastern Ulster, Rensselaer, Columbia and Dutchess counties where snowfall amounts were around 2 inches or less, due to rain being the more dominant precipitation type.
