The McCall snow stake reported 8.1 inches of snow from a 24 hour period. Brundage Ski Resort reported 16 inches of snow while the Tamarack Ski Resort reported 12 inches of snow.

Wider weather episode

Heavy snow fell in valleys in the West Central and Boise Mountains. Cold pools lingered in these valleys, allowing snow to quickly accumulate.
