Event narrative

The Hudson Wildfire started on the 3rd southeast of Bastrop. Temperatures were unusually high, but dewpoint temperatures were also high and relative humidity was above 30%. However, southerly winds were strong with gusts up to 30 mph. The fire was contained on the afternoon of the 7th when it had burned 400 acres.
